The lock-back mechanism snaps shut with a satisfying click that feels solid in the hand, and the mesquite handle’s grain is so rich it almost looks polished by years of use already. I bought this for camping trips and the wood’s toughness is exactly what I wanted from something tied to King Ranch he

The lock back mechanism clicks in solidly with zero blade wiggle, and the rich mesquite wood handle warms up nicely in your palm during a full day of carving. It’s a hefty little knife that feels like it could take a beating out on the trail.
