The aniline-tanned leather has this deep, rich finish that's already softening up nicely after two weeks of wear. I've worn them to the office and out to dinner, and they still look sharp. The fit was true to size right out of the box.

Broke these in over a weekend of chores and they already fit like I've had them a year. The aniline steer leather scuffs easy, which bugged me at first, but it just rubs back smooth with a little conditioner. Solid Texas-made boot for the money.
