Humble Oil Borregas 帽子

Bought this for my dad who worked the South Texas oilfields for 30 years, and he actually got a little choked up when he saw the 1945 Borregas detail on the front. The fabric has that broken-in feel right out of the box, no stiff brim to deal with.

The embroidery on the front is way cleaner than I expected for the price, and the unstructured crown gives it that broken-in feel right out of the box. Wore it all day in the sun and it never got sweaty or itchy.

I love how the cap’s woven patch subtly references the 1945 Borregas strike – it’s a great conversation starter. The structured fit holds its shape well without feeling stiff.
